View Full Version : I Need Timeshare HELP!
06-22-2003, 09:11 PM
Can anyone tell me if RCI members can trade into Marriott's Grande Vista? It's not listed on RCI's web site and I don't have a new book.
My parents can trade with II and we can trade with RCI and we were hoping to both be able to stay at MGV.
If we can't get into MGV does anyone have a suggestion as to where to stay that is just as nice that we can both trade into?
Thanks for your help!

Marriott Grande Vista is available for exchange only through II.

A few of the Marriotts do trade via both RCI and II but they can be a tough trade through RCI, due to fewer deposits there. In any case, the larger the resort and the more offseason your travel dates, the easier it will be to secure two timeshare units through separate companies.
One option is to take something in a nearby resort. Relatively close to Marriott Grande Vista, you'll find these Gold Crown resorts:
Cypress Harbour - 2619
HGVC at Sea World - 3517
Oasis Lakes Resort - 4852
Sheraton's Vistana Villages - 6059
Secondly, there are some dual-affilated resorts. I may miss a couple, but try these:
Marriott Cypress Harbour - MCP or 2619
Marriott Royal Palms - MRP or 1699
Marriott Sabal Palms - MSP or 1276
Orange Lake Country Club - 0670
Sheraton's Vistana Resort - VIT , VIO, VI1 & VO1 or 0450
Sunterra Cypress Pointe Grandvillas - CYN or 3996
Sunterra Cypress Pointe Resort - CYO or 2750
Sunterra Polynesian Isles - PYI or 5094
Or these somewhat less desirable properties in Kissimmee:
Club Sevilla - CSV or 5169
The Seasons Resort - SER or 0898
Westgate Vacation Villas - WGV or 0899
Hope that helps! :)
