Sounds great! We can always have more than one person doing an item if others see something they want to do but someone has already signed up we can just add to it.
Please check to make sure I put your name in the right section...Not so good at cut and pasting and color coding! LOL!

I can do journal boxes for summer & holiday (4th of July)!!:)
06-22-2003, 07:53 PM
More squares for summer and photo mats for Holiday or photo mats for both if you would like.
When you make these since this is my first time do you make them all alike. If you have 10 people and you have to do 20 total do you do 2 sets of 10 that are exactly alike?
06-22-2003, 08:36 PM
For the small squares/nuggets you need to make 4 for each person.
For the photo squares you would make 2 different frames and then make a total of 20- 10 each.
Granted if we don't get 10 people to sign up then you will make less.
You will be including frames and nuggets for yourself. They will be swapped back to you at the end. Just easier that way!

06-24-2003, 08:00 PM
I know you guys will think I am crazy , but I have almost finished my squares. The girls helped me put my peices together. I've made enough to cover up to ten people so even if someone else signs up I will be prepared. This is my first ever swap , so I hope you all like them. Spinning if you don't mind please send me your address by email . As soon as they are done I will have hubby mail them out when he sends out his ebay stuff. ( Hopefully sometime next week ). If you need me to hold on to them a little longer I can do that also.

I will try to send them out by the end of the week.
This also my first swap so I hope they are up to par with all the great work I've seen from all of you.
Well it's off to slumber land now and then on to my 20 mats for the Holiday Season. I'm sure the mats will take me longer to do.
06-25-2003, 06:10 PM
Ok We still have some openings and a total of 8 ladies in each group. I will keep it open till the end of the weekend!
06-25-2003, 07:39 PM
mail today. If we only end up with eight please feel free to keep the extras if you like them.
Hope they are okay. I am so worried about this since it is my first swap. You'd think I was sending my DD off somewhere. But, I have seen how talented you other ladies are and I don't know if I am up to your caliber. Oh well it's all for fun right!
I'll work on the mats over the weekend at the crop I'm going to then I can buy some cool stuff to make them with or use their die cut a machine to make some cool embelishments.

yay! I finished my 4th of july paper piecings today, they came out pretty cute, I think. I got to use all of my new toys too, which of course was very exciting! :D wire, glue dots, magic tape.... it was a fun afternoon. :D I must say, I really like the wire writer and jig thing. Well, off to finish the other set of tags for the summer part, I did one set, now I'm just waiting for inspiration to hit me for the other one. :D maggie
06-25-2003, 08:20 PM
WOW! You guys are amazing! I am now so excited!
06-26-2003, 09:16 AM
I'll do the 4th of July Shaker Boxes :)
If you don't get someone to do the summer one - I may be able to do that one too (suns)
When do they need to be done by?
I'm almost done with my summer journal boxes, got one set done and nearly finished with the other set. But I'm still trying to figure out what to do for the holiday borders. I think I won't do anything for 4th of July though. It seems we'll be getting plenty for that holiday so I'll choose another one.
06-26-2003, 01:15 PM
I put you down for both Shaker boxes. If you don't want to do both let me know. They are due July 25th
Thanks for joining.
06-27-2003, 08:16 AM
I finally was inspired and figured out what to do with the other half of the tags I was making for the summer group. I have to finish the last 4 and then I can send them out. maggie

I was a way for a few days.
Anyway I realized I counted wrong for the swap. We have a total of 9 in each group. If you already mailed me or completed your items and made 8 that is fine. I will just swap mine back out. I guess when I counted I forgot to include myself!
07-03-2003, 06:15 PM
My package went out today. Please let me know when it arrives.

Spinning, I am getting ready to send you my holiday squares, & I realize I need to send a SASE. What size? And how do I know ahead of time how much postage to put on it? I also have a note to myself to send $2.00. Right? Anything else :)? Thank you!!
HAPPY 4th of JULY!!
07-04-2003, 08:05 AM
Hi Judith you need an envelope big enough to hold everything. I think they sell a 12x18 pr something like that You have to remember you will be getting titles and borders back that are 11 inches, but I know if some of the swaps they take up almost 12. You just put your address on the return envelope. Then I will use the $2 for postage and if it cost less I will put the change in the envelope. Or if you want you can enclose stamps which ever is easiest for you.
Also if you can include a piece of card board would be helpful to prevent bending.
Can't wait to see your stuff!
07-04-2003, 02:19 PM
Thanks, Spinning! I'll get my stuff off to you as soon as I can get it all together :)!
