Buying Gas Cards

I know some programs have it that you can redeem for them but does anyone know where I might get points for buying some? I want to put together a gift basket for the woman who watches our sons for us sometimes and I know this is a gift certificate she could use. Or can I go to a gas station and buy them?

Yes most chain gas stations (Exxon, Shell, BP, etc) sell gift cards right in the station.
