Can someone tell me how this works? We will have UPHs on our room key. Is the room key automatically a charge as well? If you pay your room and UPH with a credit card, does the same credit card have to be your charge?
How much credit needs to be available on it?
Thanks! Glad to see the boards are back up. :D

I have done this many times before. 1st you do not have to have it tied to the same credit card .You also set up the limit you can charge to the room . I travel with a friend every year and she does not charge on her card so only my key card can be charged and I always tie it to my Disney Credit card for only $200.00 When my kids go they have room keys with no charging.
Dont know if this will help good luck and enjoy your trip !

Thanks for the speedy reply, that helps. So I am assuming that I can use two cards then--one for room/UPH and one for charging. Also, does anyone know if they still accept AMEX?

You can also at any point pay cash towards your bill or turn in cash at check-in that you "work off" so you are not carrying it around.
As was said, you can have no charging on all, some or none of the room keys. They will clearly say "room only"
I love this privelege.
Enjoy

Yes, they take Am Ex.
I'd like further clarification on the charging amounts...
1. I assume you HAVE to give a credit card imprint?
2. Do they put a "hold" on a certain amount of available credit?
3. If they take cash in leiu of credit card, what is minimum they will accept?
I know these may be dumb questions, but we do not care to use the credit cards if possible & hate the way hotels have the hold on your credit line!
Thanks!
