My husband and I have never been to either of the water parks and were thinking about going the 3rd or 4th of July. Are all days equally busy or are those days going to be crazy? Which water park is better to go to the first time or should we wait until later in the summer when we'll be there?

I went on July 3rd last year in the afternoon to Typhoon Lagoon. It was crowded, but I was able to find a nice seat in the shade.

We were there last year around that time and more than one CM warned me that the water parks will often reach capacity and then the gates will close. If you have your heart set on going one of these days, best get there soon after opening. We opted out last summer, but we could see when driving past that the lots were full at TL and they were parking people on the grass. My kids are small and I feared losing them in the crowds. It appears that EVERYTHING is crowded on July 4th week, but we thought it was exciting being in the midst of all the action!

Have fun!
