hello

first trip to WDW in the summer- many times in winter

want to get to the parks for extra magic hour and was just curious as to how hot it is in Orlando in the early morning hours- between 7 am and 12pm

want to be out of the parks by 1pm

when does the heat really hit?

i live in the NE and am trying my best to prepare for this hot and humid summer trip and still have fun!!

thanks

We're from upstate NY and have managed the WDW summer heat many times. In our experiences, the heat hits quite early...often as early as 9:00. That's because the morning low temperatures are in the 70's, the early part of the day is usually cloudless, and the mid-summer Florida sun is incredibly intense! The best scenario is when clouds build up in the late morning (which they frequently do), and especially when there is a little shower...then the noon hour can be more bearable than the morning!

The bottom line is, you really can't avoid the heat, but we've learned to cope well with it.

If you have any other weather-relaled questions, I'm your man...love weather and climate!

We are leaving Friday and I've already prepared myself . . .

We went last July 4th and the heat wasn't that bad . . .it was the "thickness" of the air . . .

But then again . . .most of those days were overcast and showery too . . .

Regardless I'm SOOOOOOOOOOO excited to be going back!
