Is ebay an addiction too? I don't even know why I did this. Does any one else buy from e-bay?

I love ebay!! It's where I get all my adhesives!!! The prices (with shipping) are better than I can get here at my LSS!! I've bought paper piecings, too.

I was in to stamping, but once I got into scrapping, I sold all my stamping stuff and put it in to scrapping. I love ebay and YES!! It's addicting!!

i have bought designer barbies, music, videos, clothes, jewelry...you name it. Ebay BAD!

awhile back I did but then realized it was just a fair deal and with coupons at Micheal's would have been the same and less stress!

I have got some really good deals on eBay, but you have to be careful and know how much things are worth. Also check the shipping charges that will apply because sometimes that is where the "seller" makes their profit.

Ebay is sooooo fun! I began "ebaying" when it was only in it's second year! You really can find some great bargains sometimes. The main thing I watch for is shipping charges. I believe some people make their money off of shipping, not what they sell! It is a great resource for finding things that you can't always find where you live. I bought nearly all of youngest DD's birthday presents off of Ebay this year! She wanted a Toy Story party. There aren't too many Toy Story toys in the stores anymore, but I found MORE than enough there!

It's also a great place to sell things that you no longer want, but don't want to just give away. I get a much better price for kids' clothes there then I ever could from a garage sale!

Good luck!!

AUGH Laura -
why did you have to remind me that E-bay existed!
I hadn't bought anything since before x-mas (and then I only saved $5 by the time I finished with shipping!)
Now I just put in a $75 bid on CM albums! AUGH!

Or did you bid on several albums.

I'm having a class/party in July if you want to order from there instead.

It was a set of three albums- lol
make sure to e-mail me just before your party and see where I am at here! I am trying desperately to go NO SHOPPING here! It is not working out so well :(
I want to have a lot of cash for the KISS event, and we are in the middle of buying land to build a house so hubby is stoping my scrapping and stuff allowance from him
But I may NEED an album by then :) and CM are all that I use!
I was actually thinking of signing up with them so I can at least get things at cost (but $500 every three months is a little more than I spend now!)

I have never gone to their site to look around before and maybe I shouldn't go back.

But, I sure wish AC Moore wasn't so close to my office during lunch.

Oooh Ebay is a huge addiction! LOL...My DH is an Ebay Addict for sure! He is on there everyday looking for stuff for his business!

I buy occasionally from Ebay, usually scrapbooking stuff or Strawberry Shortcake collectables...I have a huge SS Collection that I have had since I was a kid!

Have fun, sometimes you can get great deals on Ebay!

Whooo hooo, I am having my best ever ebay sale!!
I had posted an auction for the Creating Keepsakes The big Idea Book of Disney Memories.
I had no idea it was so popular!
I had listed it for 5.00 and it is now up over 20.00!!!
I realize now that it is out of print so I guess that explains why it is fetching such a good price...tee hee heee-hope it goes up a few more dollars before the auction is over!
I really only expected 6.00 or 7.00 dollars for it!

I have a TON of brand new scrapping stuff that I would like to sell on E-Bay, can I upload a picture from my digital camera card or do I have to do it directly from my camera? I asked E-Bay for help, but I can't figure out what they are trying to tell me. I'd appreciate any help--‹

What I do is take my picture and then save it in My Documents, once in ebay on the picture screen-you can then upload it from your documents. Where are you storing your pictures on your computer?

Or you can add the picture right into your description, here is a explanation I have saved from another message board...

Go to www.imagestation.com and start an account. Make
an album. When you create the album, there's a spot to
put a password, but don't put one in. It's there in
case you want a password for the album, not saying
that you need to enter your site password just to
create the album. Hope that makes sense! Upload your
pics into your album on imagestation.

After the pics are uploaded, go into the album, then
click on the tiny pic. You'll see it a bit larger.
Click on it again, and it will open in another window.
It should appear in the original large size that you
had it on your computer. In the address bar, you'll
see a name that ends in .jpg

Go to Ebay, and go into your listing. You can revise
your items. Go into the Description, then wherever you
want the large pic to appear, you need to write a
code. I'm going to put spaces into it so that the code
won't try to work on the email. In real life, there is
only 1 space in it, and I'll show you were by putting
an underscore (_). Also, where you would copy and
paste the info from the address bar on imagestation
(the one that ends in .jpg), I'll write TITLE. Hope
that makes sense!

< img _ src = " TITLE " >

You can also start your own website on
www.angelfire.com, but it seems to be more
complicated, and if too many people look at your
images within a certain amount of time, the site will
shut down for a while!

HTH-My first few times it took a long time playing around before I figured it out! Happy ebaying!
