I think it should be noted the fares quoted above do not include segment fees and passenger facility charges. Because these fees are both segment based, not fare based, they can range from $8.50 to $29 per roundtrip, which will be added to the base fare posted above.

In addition to the number of segments which comprise your itinerary, different airports assess different passenger facility charges, ranging from $0 to $4.50 per segment.

Southwest Airlines Take Along Fares were announced today. See http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/010529/datu003_2.html

While these fares for sets of 2 people travelling together are lower than Southwest's regular advance purchase discount fares, they are higher than Southwest's Click 'N Save Internet specials should a Click 'N Save Internet special become available on your route. Southwest has suspended Click 'N Save Internet specials for two weeks.

Just to clarify, Boston is not served by Southwest Airlines.

Not sure what you are referring to, but I didn't post anything about $100 roundtrip fares.

There was for a few hours this afternoon some unreal fares on Delta...see:

Delta was responding to Southwest's $30 companion fares, except you didn't need the companion.
