We have never been to US before. I thought I read that both parks have character breakfasts. Please help! Tell me where they are and if they are worth going to. Also..are they any rides you would suggest not putting a 5 1/2 year old on? Thank you in advance.

I believe the character breakfast-----actually it's a lunch I think , no breakfast is only available at Confuscos (spelled horriably wrong - I'm going on memory here and it's not good , let me tell you...) at IOA. This is the only character meal. You can book it through the universal studios 1800 number. Variety of cartoon characters - 4 - 5 and I'm not sure which ones, it changes.

There are no character breakfasts. There is a character lunch at Confscio's Grill at IOA from 12 to 2 daily. There is also a birthday celebration at both parks around 2:00 and a character dinner on select nights at the Portifino.

We just got back&the day we were at IOA Confisco Grill didn't have character meal but it was going to be the next day so you may want to check what days its offered. Anyway we went to Seuss Landing to Circus McKurkus&the kids really liked it. Its not a character meal but they have a stage&do a little show with Cat in the hat&thing 1&2 etc. The food here was good&filling. Cafeteria style but took us at least 20 mins. to get through the line. Me&Dh were in line while the kids were watching the show so it was fine as we could see the kids at the table.

USF does not have any character meals.
