There was an interesting article in yesterday's paper called "No-Fail Feng Shui Gardening". It was an interesting read. And it included some Feng Shui Tips. For all us peony lovers you will be happy to hear the first one:

Plant peonies if you want love in your life. Other relation-building flowers are narcissus, plum blossoms, hyacinths and orchids. Plant in southwest area.
Chrysanthemums represent longevity, dependability. Plant for long duration of anything wonderful: success, marriage, career.
Jasmine represents woman and sweetness. Provides a pleasant fragrance and deodorizer.
The lotus flower is the symbol of Buddhism and of purity, joy and perfection. The lotus seed, lien tse in Chinese, means "continuous children".
Red flowers in the ground or in planters on both sides of a south-facing home's front entrance provide protection to your family.
