Hi Guys.
In August we're taking our daughter and friend to WDW. It's the friend's FIRST TRIP to the World, ...AND she's turning 16 while we're` there!!!!
Any ideas on how to make this a truly great birthday for this girl??
We're thinking we'll have dinner at Cal. Grill, whatd'ya think??
Anysuggestions, or birthday stories would be appreciated!

I heard that if it's your birthday whilst at WDW, you can visit the Town Hall on Main St. USA (MK) and collect a special birthday button. If you wear this around the parks, you may get special birthday treatment!
My little sister had her 8th birthday at WDW (a little younger than 16, I know) and my mum bought her a birthday button back home before we left. Anyway, wherever she went, CM's made a big fuss of the fact that it was her birthday. When we went to the Crystal Palace for lunch, Pooh, Tigger and Eeyore brought hera little cupcake with a candle on it and a card-she was so pleased. I think it made her day!! She also got to 'drive' the boat at Jungle Cruise.
However, your daughters' friend might be a little old for that(?)
If you are travelling on the monorail that day, ask the driver if you can ride up-front with them. We did this once and it was an extra special treat.
Hope this helps and I hope the birthday girl has a magical day! :smooth:

yeah I agree with Rhian...I think the button would be cool!!!
ummm...I dunno..never been to cali grill
You could also go to Whispering Canyon at Wilderness Lodge...not only is the resort beuatiful but that resuarant is supposed to be the greatest!!! the waiters are crazy!!!
You could also take her to Hoop-De-Doo at FOrt Wilderness...its a nice show and if I remember correctly they ask about bdays and anniversaries.
Also Chef Mickey's would be nice...the waiters will come sing and bring a cake but you have to call in advance to do that.
Hope I helped!! :)
