Interested in info pertaining to your new year's eve experiences. Thinking of having dinner at the Millenium Village....nye buffet.
Any suggestions or recommendations that you might have for nye would be appreciated.

If you're planning to be at Epcot, I suggest that you make your reservations at exactly 120 days in advance. We've had our NYE dinner at Teppanyaki twice now for NYE and last year there were people begging to be seated without PSs. It was raining cats and dogs (and little kittens) and they hadn't made any plans for dinner. Big mistake! Make up your mind ASAP and make the PS. You'll be happy you did :).

We were at Epcot last New Year's Eve. We thought of that buffet(rock and roll NYE), but DS didn't want to do it(he is 12). We made PS at Teppanyaki. It was pouring by 8pm and we waited almost an hour from our PS. We are returning this year and are thinking of what to do also. we are staying at Swan and they also had a dinner/party last year. Maybe we will do this. One thing to remember, if the parts hit capacity, you won't be allowed in the park-even if you are resort guest or have PS. This happened at MK , but not Epcot. We started the day a MGM then entered WS around 5:30pm with no problem.

The earliest you can make reservations is at 120 out???? Am I right? I called today and they said it must be done at the 120 day out mark. Has any one made reservations earlier than this point.
Thanks

Only two of our trips have included NYE and both times we chose Hoop de Doo. We didn't want to go into the parks that night. The price at HdD is the same NYE as any other night. Finally you can make a reservation (not just a PS) way ahead. I think it's currently two years ahead.
