How long will it take to be driven from Sanford Airport to I-Drive??

It took us about 1.5 hours - although we did a tour of Kissimmee after losing our way slightly :)

Hi

Probably depends on when you arrive, because of possible traffic problems, and where on I Drive you want to be. Last year we drove from Sanford to the 192 (beyond I Drive) in an hour via the Central Florida Greeneway. On the other hand one day I decided to drive the length of I Drive - BIG mistake as I hadn't realised just how busy this road could be. Therefore I suggest you plan your route very carefully as it could save you a LOT of time.

The Central Florida Greeneway is the best route to take from Sanford.......not excessively busy at any time of the day, unlike the I4 which has a lot of traffic on it, all the time.

BTW, there is a nice bridge you cross on the Greeneway, and there were loads of alligators in the water below......!!!!:eek: :eek:

Not sure about time '*** last time we stayed in Kissimmee, however, my sister did do Sanford - I-Drive and all i can say is make sure you get clear directions from the car hire firm because they just got handed a map (i think it was alamo) and the rep just put an asterix on the airport and international drive!!!! We, however, had Dollar and their directions were fab with proper written directions - still got the wrong turning on 192 but that's due to not being used to the street signs!
