I'm so excited....DH and I weren't planning a trip til 2004. Then the FTP came out and sparked our interest. It's just too good of a deal. Well we just remembered since DH works for Fedex we get interline rates. Interline is discounts for airline employees. So we did a little trip searching and oh what a sweet deal.

Well we got our dream trip today. It's the DISNEY'S DREAM MAKER SILVER PACKAGE for the 1st week in Dec at the BC waterview for only 3984.00 for 2 adults/2 children. So we'll get to be at Disney for the holidays decorations plus our first deluxe resort. I get to live next to epcot for a full week.

Hi.. congrats on booking your December Holiday - now you can start the fun planning on where to go and what to eat :)

3900.00 is a good deal - I believe the rack rates for 2 adults/2 kids silver plan is around 5700.00 for that time of the year - way to go!

have fun planning

OOOHHH that sounds wonderful! We've been planning to take our DD's to WDW for their first trip in October 2004, but because of the FTP, we're looking into a trip for this year too.

Break out the vacation planning videos and books and let the good times roll! lol!

Babyblues68, that does sound like a great deal. What exactly is included in the silver package. (I'm to tired to go searching:o )
We were there 6 months ago, and are planning to go back in 2004, even though my DS is telling me we just HAVE TO go back this year! He of course, does not understand the financial end of this plan! So fill me in, what's the silver all about?

Well we just finished watching Disney unwrapped. There is so much food we missed the first time around. I also couldn't believe the size of some of the meals. They're huge...we mostly did counter or buffet 2001. Oh my I'm going to gain so much this time...but hey you only live once.

Tig-girl the link below tells about the silver plan that can be added to a dream maker package. There is also a gold and platinum add on plans with even more wishes.

Unwrapped is a show on the food network. The show has how different foods are made. They just had a special on Disney and showed a lot of the different eats there. They also showed how the wedding cakes are made and WOW were they spectacular!

I thought the FTP only went through October 30th? Did they extend it already?

No no no , your are correct the FTP is only thru Oct 30th. The FTP is what got us to looking around for other packages. We got the DISNEY'S DREAM MAKER SILVER PACKAGE. This is different from the FTP. The site I posted above tells about this package. This is NOT the FTP. Sorry if you got your hopes up. It would be great for a lot of people if the FTP extended into the hoildays.

Thanks for the link. I checked it out briefly (I'll study it later), but it looks like you get meals as "wishes"? which is really cool. Eating is one of our favorite things to do when we go. We like to try out a different place everytime, along with some favorites. This past trip we had reservations for Boma, but didn't make it since it was our last night there, and we got tied up trying to get in every last minute at the parks. Since you are going in December, try to go to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. I don't know if you have ever been to it before, but it is such a fun time. A little pricey, and they make it seem like there are only a few tickets sold, and it was crowded, but we still enjoyed it so very much! I want to go back this year:(
