View Full Version : Use Year at BCV
Currently, does anyone know what Use Year is being made available at BCV, using the MB Program?
Also, now that points have been made available for BWV, can MB be used for those, and the same question, what Use Year?
And finally, what is the phone number to contact the DVC sales staff?
Thank you for your help.

We just joined at BCV with Magical Beginings last week. The use year they were offering was December, but we might have chosen it anyway based on our desire to go in Dec. each year.
I hear the decorations are great.

We just bought another 100 point add-on at BVC using Magical Beginnings. We were able to get our Febuary use year. Sandie

I'm thinking of getting 150 pts..... Would the final price be $74?

As of right now, that is correct.

They go by the 100% banking deadline, December's was May 31, so they have probably moved on to February (there is no January use year).

I was able to get the December Year, but only as an Add-On because I already had a December contract, for 160 pts.
I was hoping that they would make it a new contract, to give my friend (also a DVCer) a referal, but they wouldn't..... Said that it had to be your first purchase, and that I already owned via resales..... So I asked if I could please get the goodie bag, and was told yes (consolation prize).
I'm hoping that the 160 pts makes it easier for us to get the weekdays during the Holiday periods. Making the December reservations happened by me calling, waitlisting, calling, ... you get the idea.

I passed on the comment that we need a really SUPER pool, and was told that Saratoga Springs will be really nice (ie as good as SAB). I asked what would happen with pool hopping, and the CM said that is still under discussion.
So now I'm really broke, but happy ;)

FYI, I was told that there were only 1,700 points (as of 6/9/2003 morning) for Dec. Use Year at BCV, and now are selling for February.
I also asked what about the last month, Dec in 2040... and said that we would have Dec, and January to finish them up.
Hope they figure something out better than that, because I don't think I can burn all the points up that close, but hey, I'll be 80ish by then, so what will I care ????
So now, I have (Aaargh, I'm gonna be broke!):
230 - Aug OKW
150 - Dec OKW
160 - Dec BCV
-------
540
I hope I'm not laid off. This DVC stuff is addicting.

If you buy directly from DVC, they will purchase back your first year's points at $10/point, thus making your cost $74/point rather than $84/point. Alot of people do this if they are puchasing while down there on vacation as they have already taken their vacation for this year. You can use the MB as part of your down payment (but not all of it).
Can you believe it, I'm actually answering a question rather than asking one ;) .
