Does the WL lake have hammocks or seats around it so you can sit out and enjoy the lake? The lakes around the BC and CSR have them and we really enjoyed using them in the evening. Also, can you wade in the water?

I haven't seen hammocks but it's possible they have them.

I know you can't swim in the lake but I don't know about wading in it. We saw two boys who were playing in it up to their chests in October. I didn't let my kids go in because they were still at the age where they could gulp water in if they fell down, splashed each other, etc. I was concerned about the amoebas(sp?).

Good luck with the hammock question. I would love to know where to look for them next time we go there if they have them.

They have lounge chairs..... maybe 15 ofr20 of them. No hammocks. WL also has public outdoor balconies that overlook the lake which are great for viewing the parade. I've never seen anyone in the lake, I think I saw a no swimming sign. You may be able to stick in your big toe!
Hope this helps!!!!!!!!!

In terms of swimming in the lake, I wouldn't. There is a sign posted that says to stay out of the water and for health reasons, you really should. The boats contaminate the water to the point where its just not good for you to swim there. When my roommate was a lifeguard at the Lodge they made her take a swim test in the lake, but they could only stay in the water a short time because of the high pollutant levels.
