Good deals at Gabriel Brothers store and Big Lots

I was just at Gabriel Brothers yesterday (western PA, but they are also in surrounding states). They had WDW t-shirts for $6.99, and embroidered t-shirts for $7.99 in the ladies department. Very cute stuff. I saw shirts for Disneyland's California Adventure, and even a couple for Tokyo Disney. I also saw an 8 pack of fat markers with Mickey on them for $1.99. At Big Lots, they had Disney computer software. Can't remember the price, but it was less than $10, I think. At Big Lots, they also had Minnie Mouse hairbrushes ($2), and Minnie Mouse address books.

At Big Lots I saw the computer software they were 7.99. They had alot of different software, They had the Villans game, Ariel storybook, and lion king printshop and some others. I almost bought a few and didn't , I know I do not know what was wrong with me, they would make great gifts for my little ones. I guess I will go back this week!!!

IN ADDITION, THEY HAD THESE GREAT CINDERALLA, BELLE, SNOW WHITE, ETC. SILKY JAMMIES ---AT A REALLY GREAT CLEARANCE PRICE. I PICKED UP 6 PAIR---3 FOR MY D.D.'S AND 3 TO SELL ON EBAY! THEY HAVE THE ORIGINAL DISNEY STORE TAGS AT $28!! EVEN THOUGH THE JAMMIES ARE LONG SLEEVED, BEING SILKY AND STAYING IN THE AIR-CONDITIONED VILLA--THE GIRLS WILL BE QUITE COMFORTABLE. IN FACT, WE'RE GOING TO HAVE MICKEY DELIVER THE PAJAMAS THE FIRST DAY---WHILE AT THE PARK---AS A SURPRISE. THE T-SHIRTS WILL BE ANOTHER SURPRISE AROUND DAY 3 OR 4. HOPEFULLY THIS WILL HELP SAVE SOME MONEY THERE! ISN'T GABES GREAT!

I purchased the VILLAINS computer game and they have disposable rain ponchos that I read about before on this site for about .89 for a two-pack. Albertsons Grocery Store had a nice Mickey t-shirt for $8.99 that had a big Mickey on it. Big enough for DH who is tall.:p

Thanks for the heads up! I went to the Fairmont Gabes and bought 3 t shirts for DS. His fav is a bright yellow that says, "Being Goofy" with a picture of...surprise GOOFY on the front! I plan on checking Morgantown and Uniontown before I leave NEXT WEDNESDAY!!!

Crystalwv....I was just at the Uniontown Gabe's last night. They had a bunch of the Disney t's in the ladies section, right in the middle of the store. I didn't go in the kid's section, so I don't know if they had any there or not. Be careful though, I got the cutest shirt for myself, and of course being at Gabes, I checked it good for holes and spots. When I got home though, I noticed that it had a huge rip at the bottom. I don't know how I missed that. :confused: Oh well, I'll have to return it and hope that I can find another. By the way, to the left of the cash registers, facing the front of the store is an aisle that has Mickey Mouse markers for $1.99.

Sherry7- Thanks! I am planning on going in the morning to Morgantown and if I don't find anything, I'll head to Uniontown. I'm hoping to find a few things for me and a couple more for DS2. DS1 is 12 and Disney clothing is not COOL!

Hey Sherry and Crystal - I'm a northern transplant living in the south but my mom still lives in PA. She lives in a small town called Addison near Confluence.

Mom shops for my two daughters all the time at Gabes in Uniontown. I remember when the store was in a teeny spot there on Route 51.

Everytime I go to Moms, I have to go to Gabe's at least once.

Hey Mommy of two- We spend alot of summer days in Ohiopyle. We biked from the park to Confluence and back about 4 years ago. Never again!!! It is beautiful area through there.
The bonus to shopping Uniontown Gabes is that there is a Value City in the mall now. I have to make a day of it when I go. Plus, it has our closest Red Lobster!
I remember the original Gabes when it was in a very small corner building in Morgantown. We have been shopping Gabes for 15+ yrs. It's a great place if you have the time to poke around.

I found the neatest child's robe at Gabes for $5.00! It still had the $30.00 dollar price tag from WDW! Lots of AKL and DLCA t-shirts!

Mommy of two....isn't Addison on the bike trail? If so, I've rode past it a couple of times. What a small world!

I do believe Addision is on the trail. If not actually on, pretty close. Very pretty area - especially when the leaves turn in the fall.

Going to be there over July 4th week. Will definitely have to get my Gabes "fix."
