The last part about "queasy" is a bit bothersome.;

IF that is true, count me out. I'll certainly be watching this.

pr surfer, can you tell us a little more about the "barf factor" on Mission Space?
Did you see any signs that the cabin can be automatically washed down if someone is sick? Any sign of a French drain in the floor?

the pod is kept REALLY dark.. and my vision isn't all that great, so I didn't notice much of anything. However, I'm going back tomorrow morning, I'll look for you.

As for the barf factor... I didn't puke at all. Riding it 4 times in one hour though... not a good idea. I felt sick for the rest of the night. Which brings me to my first Mission Space tip... RIDE MISSION: SPACE IN MODERATION!

Would you concur that the ride is as good as Spiderman at IOA? Would you say it's as good as Indy at Disneyland?

Why do you think so? Is it the effects, the fact that it's something different? Or maybe that you didn't get sick? ;)

Thanks for the info and welcome. :)

thanks! I tend to lurk in the CM board, but this dragged me out of isolation

everything. It's such a well done attraction overall. Even the background music is AMAZING. For lack of a better adjective, the music "honors." There isn't another word I could think to describe it. When Disney wants to do something right, they will... and Mission: Space is a perfect example.

Rob,

Thank you. I have been anticipating this attraction for quite some time and am equally anxious to experience it this Oct. Your first hand accounts are a welcome addition to this board.

Could you elaborate on your suggestion to handle this in moderation? I was planning to ride at least once or twice first thing in the morning.

I'd say wait at least an hour between rides... I rode it 4 times in an hour... the first 2 times I was ok, but the 4th time I was ready to die
