View Full Version : Replacement Epcot Parade... ???

Has anyone heard anything about Disney coming up with a parade for Epcot, now that Tapestry of Dreams is gone?

I'm still surprised they have left that park parade-less for so long, and don't think they should do that through the busy summer season... but then, what do I know! :)

Any rumours or news? About a new parade, or when it might be in the park?

About 6 months back, one of Disney's higher ups made a side comment in a newspaper article about a new parade for Epcot being in the works, but I haven't seen anything about it recently.

Perhaps some of our insiders know something about the status of this?

Epcot has been paradeless for much longer periods before now. I'm sure that there are some years I am forgetting, but TON was the first Epcot parade I can recall. Were there parades before that? MK always had one and MGM always had the current movie themed parade, but I don't recall one at Epcot prior to the Milennium celebration. Does anyone else remember? There was a gap between 1992 and 1998 where I only made infrequent day trips here and there.

The park was parade-less for sixteen years. Even during the busy seasons. :rolleyes:
