Hello from Orlando!

I am now in Orlando visiting some park named Universal. :) I am popping my head in every now and then to see what is up.

The highlights of my trip so far...

1.) I survived last night's hail and thunderstorm. I could not see the road!

2.) IOA was packed around noon! FOTL was a big help.

I am so glad you guys posted. I missed giving Robin her lei before she left and felt horrible. So Robin -

You and Barry know I wish I could be there with you. but you two be sure to be in front of HRC at 3 and we will have a cyber meet. Someday, somehow.... :cool:

The only place we can get close is on the balcony over the doors at the HRC, on the IOA side of the car. Is there anyway you can get up there for the web cam meet?:confused:

Barry, Can you update us on the "smoke" situation? I heard it is making driving dangerous in some areas-- I hope not between the airport and Universal !!! Thanks for any info. M

The smoke has not been much of, if any, issue between the airport and U.O.. The main problem areas have been to the west and southwest of town, closer to the active fires. Of course it can change with the wind direction.


P.S. - I did not break the webcam.

THank you for the "fire" info. I was getting the jitters about riding in the taxi in smog/ fog. I saw footage of the I-4 accident and of course, I worried. Feel a little better now. Just hope the wind doesn't change course!! thanks, M

Barry, My brochure that I received from Universal states that FOTL is for on-site hotel guests and in effect for the FIRST HOUR OF EACH DAY. Can you check this out and confirm whether it is true, or is it good ALL day??? If you get a chance.... THANKS M
