If I fax a room location request, where would you suggest I request for convenience and quiet?

Also, would you recommend asking for any other preference in the fax?

Thanks.

Request West Wing. It is closest to the beach pool and boat to citywalk. Dont worry about quiet, I havent stayed in a room yet that wasnt. :)

Thank you for that information. I will do it when I fax them (about a week before?).

A week before is way too soon. I would send it the day before. As far as just a location goes you can call and have the request put on your reservation now. Have your loews card at check-in (or #) and request an upgrade. If its available they are usually more than happy to do it.

Oh, hmmm, I will be driving down from a two day stay in Washington D.C. the day before. Suggestions?

I would just call now with your location request and not worry about a fax. Rooms arent assigned prior to the day before so a fax sooner may not make a difference. To be honest with you I have never faxed. I have been at busy times and slow times and have always been assigned the area requested. You could give them a call the morning of just to confirm and you may get lucky and have a room assigned then. Good Luck and enjoy Portofino!

are there any other requests that might help get a "better" room? (i'm sure they are ALL wonderful, can't wait, we'll be there Sat)

we've booked a standard garden view room at PBH.
should we just call PBH directly tomorrow? or Sat morning?
and then mention our room requests when we reconfirm our reservation?

I have a Bay view room for this coming Jan(5-10). Using my Loews first card, what can I upgrade too? Are there deluxe rooms with a bay view? :smooth:

You seem very well informed about this resort. Can you give an opinion on what is a good room number in the Bayview section. I gather that the west wing is the ideal section any particular floor? I love specifics!! Thanks for sharing your knowledge. :smooth:

I think that 2400 is a great room with a balcony (mini balcony you can walk out not sit) over looking the piazza if you need a king room. If you need two queens i recommend 2402. Have a wonderful time.
