I want to see the Lion King show & am thinking of going on Fri...which should be the day AK opens early. What are showtimes?

How early should we get in line for the show?

Also, any suggestions on what to do during the early opening hour...this doesn't seem a huge plus in AK since not much is open really. Thinking of just doing the Breakfastosaurus.

Last, where's the alternative AK park entrance that I've read about?

It usually is standing room only but I've arrived right as it's starting and gotten seats. There are many seats!

The Lion King show is spectacular but really fills up quickly and the previous poster is right...it is SRO if you don't get there soon enough. There was a great thread here about the best sections to sit in...(we had an obscured view once and it kinda ruins the show) so try a search for that one. If you have little ones, try and get there early and get a seat up front, they pull lots of kids from the audience to participate. Have fun! - Nancy

The alternate entrance to the AK is through the Rainforest Cafe. Go through the gift shop and out on the patio. Voila! This entrance is much less crowded than the main one at opening time.

What? There are two entrances????? I'll have to check that out on our next family trip. I saw it during my solo trip and I know the kids will love it!!!

Probably the best attraction in AK. GO and enjoy, you will not be disappointed, even if yo have to stand.

so how early do you have to get there to get seats? we'll be going in august and definately want to check this out. :)

Showtimes for off peak times are as follows:
9:50, 11:00, 12:00, 1:45, 2:45, 3:45, 4:45

Showtimes for peak times are as follows:
9:50, 11:00, 12:00, 1:00, 2:15, 3:15, 4:45, 5:45

Sometimes the 3:15 show is actually a 3:30 show.
