HH beach chairs????????

We are heading down to HH next Friday for our first visit. Are there beach chairs and umbrellas at the beach house?? When you park, is it close to the beach? We have a 2 year old and 4yr old and wondered about taking a wagon with us. We would like to travel lightly, so would appreciate any insite.

Beach chairs and umbrellas are available on the beach from the lifeguards. Rental for two chairs and an umbrella runs about $25 per day, but if you rent for more than day (has to be consecutive and have to let them know that day).. it's about $20 per day. One nice thing is that you can charge it back to your room. Have fun!!

The beach house is a short walk away from the beach itself. There should be no need for a wagon to tote the kids and all your stuff.

Do drive over though. The walk is about a mile and a half. Parking is available at the beach house. You will be given a car pass to enter Palmetto Dunes when you check-in.

Thanks for the info. I'm glad to hear we may not need the wagon!!! It sounds a little pricey for the beach chairs, maybe we'll pack some of those instead of the wagon. Also, do the kids programs fill fast? We will be there Sun thru Thurs, I think our 4 yr old might enjoy the Unbirthday Party.
