I FINALLY did it!!!

I stepped on the scale tonight and I am down a total of 20.5 pounds!!!!!!! I am so excited I am bouncing. We are leaving for the World tomorrow and I know this will give me all the more incentive to stay on program and exercise while I am there. Will have to do a little more excercise on Saturday since we are going to Ohana for dinner...I know I know bad bad but I love the place and its a tradition. If I say within program the rest of the time and get some exercise that dinner shouldnt hurt me at all. Im just sooooooo excited. I cant wait to put on my new clippie!!

You know what? I stayed Polynesian Concierge for a week in March. Ate at Ohana, Kona, Le Cellier... Dole Whips... nightly little desserts and cordials in the lounge... those sinful afternoon cookies...and I LOST A LITTLE WEIGHT.

You want to know what I think happened? Breakfast in the Concierge lounge each morning- I had Cheerios (a different brand name, though) with skim milk and a piece of fruit or yogurt for breakfast each day. Just enough to get me going, not a huge pig-out restaurant size meal. That saves lots of points for playing! Then I would grab a bottle of water to drink on the way to the parks. At lunch and dinner, I ate what I wanted, but stopped when I was full.

That coupled with all the walking you do, and I think you'll find you can enjoy your vacation, eat where and what you like, and not regret it when you come home!

Kathy this isnt our conceige trip but thank you so much for all the helpful tips for that trip. I will have to be VERY careful that week because by that time my wedding gown for our vow renewal will be altered and I wont be able to afford to gain any weight.

This trip is just a weekend trip to have fun and tie up some loose ends with the vow renewal. I still cant believe there is only 42 days until that trip. Yikes its coming up fast!! Still so much to do to get ready for it LOL.

WOW!! How exciting- and the 20 looks SOOO very good on you- and I agree with Kathy- I think you'll surprise yourself on your trip. I've found I really do feel that "I'm full now, just better stop" more now that I've been losing weight as opposed to the "better finish my plate so I can have a whole dessert" voice! Enjoy yourself and have a wonderful trip- you deserve it!!!
