I need more music for my runs... I prefer alot of house or dance/trance-type music but am hoping to get some more suggestions...really broaden my workout music horizons as it were...
...so would you share with me what type of music, specific groups or songs that really get your heart pumping? :)

I downloaded them from the internet. I did win an exercise cd from ebay and check out collagevideo.com they have a lot of different cd's you can buy as well as different beats per minute so you can work towards a goal!

 Hi Jeannie!!
Let me ask DD....she is a runner.
How far do you run??
Gotta get rid of those KitKats eh?? ;_
LOL........well she says she listens to N'Sync.....loves Bye, Bye, Bye...and does the hand movements while running down the road :teeth:
She says her friends just burn MP3s and listen to whatever their favorite misic is.
LOL...........did that help at all??

for workout music I recommend european dance music....
it's ALWAYS the best motivational tool for me...
.....and you don't have to tell anyone at the office if u just listen to it on the mp3 player at the gym ;) ....
.... here's a compilation series on itunes that I recommend -- the "euro club hits" series:

PODRUNNER (http://www.djsteveboy.com/podrunner.html)
I download music from this site pretty frequently. I find the Beats Per Minute (BPM) that I like to maintain and download those. It helps me keep my pace.
In addition, for those doing the C25K program, this site offers some music C25K Podcasts (http://www.ullreys.com/robert/Podcasts/page4/files/category-7.html)

The Crystal Method's Drive mix that they did in conjunction with the Nike+ (but you can use it with anything, download it from iTunes) is great. I swear they know just when I am struggling and the beats pump up and the guy says "keep on moving".
Also, the soundtrack to Run, Lola Run!!!

"Fall out Boy" gets me pumped when I run. I also like listening to "The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus"
