I'm taking my mom to Disney World in October. My mom hasn't been in 17 years and this will mark my third trip in three years. I was wondering if there is any restaurant that you would recommend. We both love all types of food so that won't be a problem. If anyone can help me out I would greatly appreciate it.

There are so many great places to choose from. Some of my favorites are:
Artist Pt. at the Wilderness Lodge. The salmon is wonderful and the berry cobbler is to die for. The atmosphere there is really nice and very laid back and a lot quieter than many other resorts.
Flying Fish on the Boardwalk. An excellent seafood restaurant that is expensive but well worth it.
Cape May Buffet at the Beach Club. More than just a seafood buffet. Many, many choices and a great dessert table.
Wolfgang Puck Cafe in Down Town Disney is also a really good place to dine. There are a lot of different selections on the menu.
Kona Kafe at the Poly. We had breakfast there in April and the tonga toast is really, really good. DH also loved the pressed pot of coffee.
We also really enjoy the character breakfasts at Crystal Palace and Cape May.
We love the counter service in Norway for lunch.
My DH and DS love the hot wings at ESPN on the boardwalk.

One of the dinners that we really enjoyed was at Le Cellier, great cheese soup and steak.
We just had breakfast at Donald's Breakfastasourus in AK a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it.

I agree Boma is a unique expericence...and unless you live in a "city" that might offer some of the foods served here..I think everyone should give it a try. We loved it and will be going back.
