Extra towels

I want to purchase an extra set of towels for our stay in a BCV studio in June. When do I request this? Do I call member services, BC resort, or wait until we check in?

Also, last year when I tried to get our T&T day changed to Day 3 instead of Day 4 at check-in at BCV, no one seemed to know what I was talking about and it didn't get changed. I thought others had posted that they had changed their T&T day. How and when do you do this?

Call housekeeping from your room for both items. I've changed my T & T day sucessfully in the past. On a 6 or 7 night stay, I usually wash towels on day 3, so having T & T on day 5 works better.

As Debbie stated, just call Housekeeping and have them change the schedule to your liking.

We did that this week and switched our T/T and Full clean days. It was easy to do and they were happy to help. No problems at all.

For extra towels, the cost is $6 for a complete set of four (bath, hand, washcloths).A call to Housekeeping will handle that also.

With 3 teenage girls in one studio, I figured $6 was a small price to pay or else they'd probably be in my studio trying to swipe my towels. LOL!!

Sorry if this is obvious to every one but me. If you stay seven days and pay $6 for the extra set of towels when you check in, are you charged an additional $6 on T&T day when they leave the extra set again? My DW, DD, and DFoD (dear friend of daughter) went down yesterday (DS and I join them tomorrow night) and I know those 18 year old girls need about three towels a piece. Thanks.

Actually that's a good question. I don't think we've ever gotten a real answer on it though it's been asked before. My guess is they don't have an official policy and it varies. I can assure you they will not come in with a list that says you bought 4 extra set of towels and leave you 8 clean ones. I'd leave a not or leave them in the washer. Then if they're gone, call and ask them to be replaced.

Thanks for the quick response Dean. Maybe the trick will be to have the existing towels washed and in the dryer on T&T day and we will get all new ones plus those in the dryer, assuming they don't go through the dryer looking for towels.

One time we ordered the extra towels while in a 1 BR at BWV. When T&T day rolled around, we only got 4 more sets, not 8. From what I understood, we would have to pay the $6 again if we wanted 4 more again.

Just this past March, we requested extra towels because they had only left 2 sets in our studio. They brought extras for no charge. On T&T they replaced all of them.
