Question On Points

Ok, I have a trip planned for October. We are in a 1 BR preferred view at BWV. I used current points and borrowed points to make this reservation. If I go on the waitlist for a standard view 1BR, what will happen to the extra points I borrowed? Will they return to where they came from (next year's points) or will they need to be used by the end of my current use year? Thanks,

Once borrowed or banked, points can not be returned to original status.

That said, be specific when you make the change to the ressie. You should be able to get them to use the borrowed points first on the ressie and than bank the current points. Sometimes it seems like a symantics game to me but it is the rules.

That is what I thought, that once banked or borrowed, that's it. But I didn't think of switching it around like you said. Great idea!

The borrowed points need to be used this use year. However, the points returned could be allocated so that current year points are returned to you, and those current year points can be banked. Check with Member Services if and when you get the standard view.
