I feel so stupid. I've been doing MYPOINTS for a month now, and never went to the "earn points" section to earn points for going to a website. well, such is life, but that is not my dillema.

I now have over 750 points. My objective is to cut costs on my Oct '01 WDW trip for food, on-site resort, or whatever. Should I cash in for a $5. Red Lobster/Olive Garden Giftcard or save my points (even though the points necessary to cash in are going up 6/1) until I have enough for a $25 or $50 web cert?

Any advice is appreciated. :pinkbounc

If you know that you are going to need olive garden, then I would stick with them. Starting June 1st, the webcertificates are going to go up by 100 points. So, it would be more reasonable to get the olive garden than the webcerts (if you are going to need olive garden).

But, if you decide to get the Olive garden, i would wait until I had 1250 points and get a $10 one. At 750 points for a $5 one, you can save 250 points by waiting until you reach the $10 mark.

Roll the dice, stay in there, take you chances. Sometimes you can have a good week with MyPoints and earn a bunch of points. You can always shoot for a Rainforest GC to spend at DownTown Disney or AK.
