DH won tickets to the movie Premiere of Pearl Harbor. We saw it last night. We both really enjoyed the movie. I don't want to give away anything else that happens in the movie, because they make it more than just about the attack on Pearl Harbor. I think it is a MUST see. Ben sure is good looking in the movie! Oh and DH was 1 of 5 to be asked to go up on stage before the premiere for a chance to win prizes. It was trivia on Pearl Harbor and DH was the only one to get all 5 questions right. He won, a nice Roots Sweat shirt (that I claimed), pair of Ray Ban aviator sunglasses, a Hamilton watch, the book Pearl Harbor and a Pen. He was so excited!

Congrats on the movie tickets, but I don't think you'll have to worry about giving anything away ~ most folks know how it ends. LOL šoš

MickeyCanada - Sounds like you and your DH really enjoyed yourselves at the movie. I love to hear about people winning things, too. Your DH's Pearl Harbour knowledge certainly paid off last night !
Cheers,

SandraC, I know you are just kidding, but what I meant to say was the in between parts of the movie, and what happens to the main characters.

Cool.. A free movie is always good. I've attended several premiere screenings as well including The Lion King a while back.
Personally, I didn't like Pearl Harbour. I was bored for most of the movie. The bombs woke me up essentially. But the characters were one-dimensional and the dialogue would make most groan and roll their eyes. From what I heard in the movie theater, some would agree. Chessy chessy chessy.
But some great special effects though.
I think I'll stick to Crouching Tiger and Shrek.

Congrats on going free and the stuff - I never win anything!!!But I disagree with you on the movie (maybe it was because we knew what was going to happen - and we guessed about the ending of the love story 1/4 of the way through the movie. I found it a little too sappy, long and melodramatic. Don't get me wrong the love to see a good love story and the action was great - I don't know, I guess I was a little disappointed. Do blood or guts at all which is impressive considering how many thousands die! I wasn't the only one in the theatre to feel this way, the couple we went with felt this way too, and so did many from the comments I heard leaving the sold-out theatre! Still, with the choices in movies lately it wouldn't hurt to see it!
