Internet time on board

Seems like I read there is free internet use at some time. True or false?

The only times I've heard of this happening was after Sept. 11th, and then after the fire on the Magic, so people could contact their relatives and let them know they were OK. I don't know that they ever open up the internet access just for the sake of doing so. I could be wrong, and if I am, I'm sure someone on the board will let us know.

Sometimes on the first night they have a promotion where you get a few minutes for free. And sometimes they run a promotion where you may get unlimited access for free for the entire cruise if your cabin has been selected. But you have to log on during this free happy hour in order to find out.

We were just on the Magic from May 3rd - 10th and they did give you five minutes free on one day. I think this was the day we were in St. Thomas because the five free minutes had to be used *before* five o'clock and by the time we got back on board, we didn't have a chance to take advantage of the offer.
