Well Thursday I did my WATP one mile walk in the morning and my one hour low impact dance aerobics last night, so I am 4 for 4!!!!
May be a little more difficult for the weekend since we are going away (to a former DISer's wedding!!) but I think I can fake the walk for 20 minutes in the morning to at least do something.

WISHing you all a successful exercise day!!

That is great news...aren't those tapes awesome? Wait til you do the three mile walk :) :) Good for you CC...they really are a good workout, and get your whole body involved. Enjoy your trip CC, and good luck to the former DISer :)

I went to the gym and had an awesome work out. The trainer was there and I spent 1.5 hours going through free weights, and how to do crucnches more efficiently. Got lots of great info, and was shocked to know I could bench press 65 pounds :) :) I am impressed...of course the bar itself is 45 pounds and huge and it had these two tiny 10 pound weights on either side. Anyway, I also got a compliment from the trainer :) :teeth: He could not believe I was about to turn 40, and said." I looked very good for alomst 40." After I thought about that comment I was not so sure it was a compliment :p

I was able to do a 13.2 minute mile, and did my nautilus. I can see muscle finally starting to show through... :)

Cathy, that is wonderful!!! I am so proud of you! Have a great time at the wedding and fit in the exercise any time you can! You will jump right back on track next week. And you know if I don't see your name by a post here, I will hunt you down (ha ha!)

Did all my regular stuff yesterday. Body is aching in a good way thanks to the ohMom challenge (woo-hoo!) Went to the driving range with Ross yesterday and crushed a few golf balls. I am so psyched to become a golfer, and I owe Rosemary, our WISH soccer star, a huge THANK YOU for giving me the inspiration to try something new! :)

Cathy - great job! have fun this weekend :) Weekends are more challenging for me, I used to just not do anything and i'm working on changing that attitude and working in whatever I can.

Glo - I want to see an updated pic! you are a weight-lifting machine! I can relate to the bench-press comment, I usually do 65 lbs too, recently have added another teeny tiny 5lb with it. It looks so pathetic but then I think, Hey, I can bench press! I love doing exercises that work multiple muscle groups.

This week I have had to tone down my intensity as I got a pretty good head cold thing. But, before I would've used this as an excuse to take a week off, instead I'm slowing down but not stopping! So that's my success.............and I've been doing the same exercises TigH mentioned and really feeling it!

I thought about audio taping the WATP's videos to have when I am away from home. Since she give audio clues I think it should be "doable" without the video. She also have audio tapes/CD's I have never heard them so I don't know if they are the same or not.

Congratulations on a good week, Cathy. Have a great time, and be sure to say "Hi" to that guy (and his honey) from the rest of the "old board" Rock 'n Rollin' all morning long Canadians!

Ohmom...next to the guys that have these humungous weights I look so dang scrawney....lol Today I did the free weights followed by the nautilus for each muscle group to exhaustion...boy are my arms and chest sore. I wouldn't think a chest the size of mine (teeney weeney) could be that sore other than breast feeding...(ok TMI) BUT IT HURTS!!!!! WOW I really did not know there were so many muscles there  I also worked my lowerbody, abs and back.

After that I did the treadmill for 20 minutes and went 1.52 miles :) not to shabby....

I want to start a Pilates, but am unsure of which to try :) Also a spinning class is starting at the Y and am considering it...:)
