Yay! It's good to see some interest! Thanks Tink33!

BTW: Where would the "Riverbelle Terrace" be? I'm not familar with DL anyway, so I need a little help with that. If you are going to spot me, I have my very own Minnie Mouse plush toy with pins on them! Hope to see you all soon!

Quentin & Carolyn,

I think it will be easier to find us if you know what we look like. Here are some pictures from the last meet:

It's looking good for the Riverbelle Terrace! I thought I might have a seminar to go to that day, but I haven't heard anything, so I'm making plans!:)

Tink: Those pics absolutely cracked me up!! DH, Me and 4 other friends of ours have all been pegged as certain "Friends" characters. I'm Phoebe...I'm so glad you were able to get that great shot of me;) ;)

Quentin: The main entrance to RT is across the path from the Indiana Jones entrance.

Larry: If we all get there a bit early, we can do breakfast again. Mmmmm:sunny:

See you all soon!

Well, I got an email from my cousin yesterday, and they'll be here this Friday to spend the weekend with us, and then on to Las Vegas. So, I don't think I'll be at the DISmeet this weekend. :(

Have a lot of fun, you all, and I'll be there in spirit. :sunny:

Larry: We're going to try to get there around 9:30. I'm not sure how late they serve breakfast but that should give us plenty of time. Hope you can join us!!

Of course others are welcome to join the breakfast festivities:)

MaryJo: Big ole bummer! Can't you just be rude & dump off the kin at DTD for a while and come in to say "HI"!??;) LOL!! (Totally kidding of course). I can just see it....."Hi! Nice to see you! I'm going to Disneyland & you can go shopping!"

Can you tell it's 3:40am & I need some sleep???:bounce:

Where are you guys meeting for breakfast?

This question does not imply I will be there.... I am coming down with bronchitis or something.... maybe I should see a doctor?

But If I do show up, I will get there early and possibly join you all for breakfast.

MaryJo, we will miss you as well as Michelle.

Unfortunately between my cold and 4 patients in the hospital that I acquired today, I will not be able to join you all at Disneyland.

Sorry

What a beautiful day for a Disneyland DIS meet. I had the pleasure of meeting two new DISers this time (not new to the DIS, just new to me :) ).

I finally met Goofster57, aka Keith, and his family. Keith is the Disneyland King Pin. He has been collecting pins for the last 18 years !!! He remembers back in the olden days when Disneyland released 15 - 20 pins a year at a price of $3.95 per pin. Now Disneyland releases 15 - 20 pins each week at a cost of $6.50 - 12.00 per pin. ...Oh the good old days... Beside pins we chatted about the Disneyland DIS board members. And no Keith, I promise not to tell everyone what you said about them. ;)

I also met Quentin Disney. Quentin was wandering around the path outside the RiverBelle Terrace. I recognized him from the photo in his signature and jumped in front of him. Sorry if I startled you Quentin. Sunday was his second day of exploring the parks. When I asked him if Disneyland met his expectations, he replied "The jury is out". He had not seen every attraction as he was pacing himself. Quentin was anxious to experience Disneyland and headed to Autopia after he was given some Disneyland advice by the experts: Diva of Dragons, Larry_Poppins and Goofster57.

I also chatted with Diva of Dragons, aka Lisa. Lisa gave me some great travel advice. Never go on vacation without a car. We Californians love our automobiles and are lost without them.

Last, but certainly not least, Larry_Poppins. Larry had on a fantastic DCA shirt. He is lucky to have a CM connection who purchased it for him. I now know who to turn to when I want something. ;)

All in all, the meet was much too short. We missed Carolyn. Maybe she saw the 11 of us and thought twice about stopping by. Stay tuned for some photos of the meet and a special edition of Where in Disneyland just for MaryJo. </font>

I felt really bad about missing the meet....

There was a spate of people with cardiac arrests this weekend, so it kept me much more busy than usual.

The meet was a lot of fun. I am glad I was able to make it to this one. It was nice getting to meet some new, to me DIS members. Tink I think the only one you would have to stay clear of saying anything to is that SHY(???) Mary Jo…..

Instead, I spent the day at Newport Beach w/my cousins (whose children told them emphatically: No Disneyland without us!) lol  We had a great time there, though, and I will do a write-up on "other" things to do in So Cal. (I was looking at it as 'research' while we were there. ;) )

Thanks, Tink33, for such a nice write-up. I would have enjoyed watching you startle Quentin. heh

... and TLK - bless you for taking care of people - You make a definite difference in their lives. We're just going to have to plan a meet when you are not on call... and ... um, no dancing - yeah, we got it, right Tink33? :smooth:

.... and yes, Keith, sometimes I am shy!!!! :p
