1 day park hopper ticket?

Does anyone know about a 1 day park hopper ticket that is supposedly on sale for Universal? I think I saw something about it on these boards but it is not shown on Universal's Website or ticketmania.com

Can you only buy it at the gate? How much is it?

Maybe it has changed, but I thought that they didn't offer a 1 day pass. They sell 2 and 3 day passes which are hopper, ones, but the singles are not. The days never expire so they still work out a good deal. Correct me if I am wrong though : )

I understood that was the case (2 or 3 day hoppers) also until recently when I saw something on one of these boards about a 1 day hopper.

Anyone know if they exist?

It DOES exist, and is for sale ONLY at the theme park front gates. It is not advertised nor is it listed as an option on the pass sales booths. Guests do need to ask specifically for this ticket.

But, be aware, it is certainly NOT a very smart purchase. Honestly, the price is only about $10 less than a 2-day 2-park ticket. So why waste your money on a 1-day 2-park ticket when for an extra $10 you can get a second day that can be saved for a future vacation!
