A few days ago someone posted about not being able to reach GCE Golfcarts. This coupled with the fact that their web sit was down led to speculation they may be out of business.
I spoke to John at GCE this morning and business is booming. They have just changed locations because he just purchased land closer to WDW.
The number I reached him at is 1-407-850-5559.
I hope this helps.
Trip starts one week from today...

Thank you so much!! I was so worried that they were gone! Did he happen to mention if they were updating their website?

Rhonda,
We didn't speak about his website. I mentioned his site being down because I was unable to acces it.
When I spoke to him it was 7:30am Wednesday and he was outside on a cordless overseeing the loading of 12 carts being delivered that day.
This guy has been a pleasure to deal with. I made reservations for a cart 3 months ago. I called him back about 3 weeks ago and added an additional day to my reservations, along with a request to change my cart from an electric, to a gas powered unit. He was only too happy to accomidate.

This is a dumb-dumb question but... why gas vs. electric, pros and cons... and what's the story
with the windshield vs without. This is the first time renting/driving one and i don't know the
options/questions to ask. thanks for the help...

Kerri -
We liked our gas cart better because it went a little faster than the electric ones, and you don't have to worry about plugging them in all the time. The gas lasted the whole week we had it, and there was still a half-tank left when we dropped it off!
You will definitely appreciate the windshield! The evenings can get cool - especially when you're whizzing around on a cart! :) Also, if it rains - it keeps the water out of your eyes!
