Disney Store in KC closing...

I went to the DS in Metro North Mall (KC North)last night only to find out they are closing their doors as of June 24. That's makes me sad.

Everything in the store is on sale for 33% off. And anything that is clearanced at 50-75%, you get the additional 33% off those things.

Just wanted to share this information with the fellow DISers out that that might be looking to pick up a few things.

Hi Princess Tink, I stopped at the Disney Store in Oak Park Mall (Overland Park) a couple weeks ago. They're closing for re-model and enlargement, they said. Will reopen in late summer I think I believe. So there will at least be one store left in the metro KC area - if what she told me was true.

The CM at Metro said the same thing (that Oak Park was closed for remodeling but would definately be back open). There is still one in Independence Center as well but, not sure what's going to happen with that one. The CM at Metro didn't seem to sure about the future of that one. She said rumors had it that it would be closing.

At least we'll have one left. More than most have I guess.

I wouldn't mind KC going from 3 stores to 1 if they just carried some respectable merchandise. I was at Independence this weekend and the selection was less than adequate.
