What a great song for inspiration. Thanks. I'm so glad I've joined you guys. It's great having people who understand. I'm extremely independent and find it hard to lean on anyone because everyone leans on me. My DH always says everyone brings their problems to me to solve. So, now it will be nice for a change to just share with someone else.

You're right..it is a very appropriate song. I like the support that is shown her. I get little or no support at home. My kids usually ask what my WI was and get excited for a few seconds, but DH just complains that he can't believe I'm spending almost 10.00 a week for someone to tell me how to eat! I tell him I'm paying for the support I DON'T get at home!!!

Nativetxn: Hi, it's definitely tough being the strong one. I have a pretty large family including the grown nieces and nephews. Now, it seems they too come to me with their problems. I'm more than happy to help, but sometimes I just need a breather from it all. Thank God for Disney twice a year. We also sneak away for a weekend a couple times of year to hold us over till we can get to Disney.
I am basically doing WW on my own. With the help of you guys, I am really feeling motivated. I started last Friday and hope to stay motivated. I love all the tips on these boards.
Thanks for being here. And it's great to know that someone else knows what it is like being the strong one. It will be nice to vent once in a while, something you can't do with family because they depend on you to be the strong one.
