This is only day #3 on Atkins, but it's day #2 for feeling lousy and having a headache. I've heard that it's not unusual to feel poorly early in induction - but I wanna feel better! Tell me that I'll soon have more energy and be headache-free!! (I rarely had headaches before!)

I felt lousy for the good part of the first week. It is worth it --- so stick with it! You will soon have more energy and feel better than ever!
Be sure that you are getting plenty of protein right now. And plenty of water. Those two things will help.

It usually starts around day 2, and lasts for 2-3 days. Don't worry - when it's over you'll have so much energy, you won't know what to do with yourself! :Pinkbounc

It lasted about 3-4 days for me. I agree, drink a lot of water, it will help with the headaches. :)
You are going to make it!

I didn't experience withdrawal. My husband, however, felt cruddy the first 4 days. At about 9PM of day four, he walked in the door and proclaimed, "I just feel good!" He was surprised but very pleased.
Hang in there. Drink as much water as you can, it will help flush those toxins out of your system. Take Ibuprophen for your headache, and don't do any heavy exercise, if you can avoid it for the first two weeks. Dr. Atkins said so :)
I hope you are feeling better soon! Don't give up, okay? Because you can do this and it will be so easy after you get past the withdrawal.

Thanks guys - you're the best! I went to Curves & just couldn't make it through - never got my heart rate to the target. So I just did a few stretches & left. I probably didn't drink enough water yesterday because I didn't have to get up during the night! I'll drink more water this evening.
