I can't believe it.

I went to Chicago last week for work, and I ate really bad. Room service most nights - and they were an Italian restaurant so I had pizza and pasta most of the time. We spent the weekend in the city, also eating bad stuff.

So, I finally got brave enough to step on the scale this morning - and I gained back 9 pounds!!! aaaaarggh!!! How can I gain 9 pounds in just one week?? I'm hoping most of it is water weight. I refuse to give up my clippie, unless I can't take it back off in the next few days.

So, I'm hitting Induction hard again today and I'm determined to stick with it! I'm so mad at myself!

It must be water retention. I bet when you step on the scale at the end of the week you see a big difference.
Good luck!!

Welcome back, Rhonda. I missed seeing you here on WISH. You had fun, right? You had a good trip? Did you get to meet any DISers? :)

Okay, you know the rules. No beating yourself up over anything you ate or drank in the past. Because that is all in the...well, past. :teeth:

You also know that you didn't gain 9 pounds of fat in a week. It's fluid retention from eating off program foods.

Hop right back on induction and you will drop those 9 pounds quickly. Sure hope you don't have to go through withdrawal again.

I'm so glad that you are back home with us again. I know you are still motivated and determined. You have already come up with the perfect plan to get back on track. She what a good example you are for me.

ONWARD AND DOWNWARD!

There is NO getting mad at yourself allowed here!!! :) You can do it. 9 pounds in one week, surely much of that was some type of fluid retention!

Rhonda, I believe in you!!! :) Stay focused, sweetie!!!!!!!!

Thanks everyone! I did pretty good yesterday - I slipped up once last night with some fettucini alfredo  , but it's always hard to get back in the groove after stumbling.

Today is a new day, I have my meals all planned out, and I'm ready to go! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc Thank you all for your encouragement! I can do this - and I'm not mad anymore! :)

Just posting to offer some sympathy.

I know you can get back on track. What's done is done. You're doing the right things again now and that is what matters today! You will soon get rid of those extra unwanted pounds. Forget about yesterday and concentrate on today.

Keep letting us know how you are doing - we love to celebrate around here!
