Hilton Head to Orlando

This is slightly off topic but I need help. We will be driving down after our stay at HH and need somewhere to stay about halfway down. Any ideas? We just really need a place to sleep, but we want it in a nice safe neighborhood. We will be travelling on I-95. All suggestions will be greatly appreciated.:pinkbounc

Isn't Jacksonville about 1/2 way between HH and Orlando?

We were leaning towards Jacksonville. Since we do not know the Jax area we were hoping for some feedback on hotels and area.

Not much on the north side of Jacksonville more on the south. Several Hampton Inn's on the way down including I one just south of Jacksonville. Look at their webiste Hampton Inn (http://www.hilton.com/en/hp/index.jhtml)

I'm actually not a big fan of most regular Marriott's. I don't care for Courtyards or Fairfield Inn's. I do love the Hampton Inn for those quick stop overs. Generally the best continental breakfast, a reasonable price and predictable quality.

We have stayed at many Hampton Inns up & down the East Coast & have always been pleased. I agree with Dean'scomments regarding the continental breakfast, price & quality.
