I read somewhere a while back about buying these in a shop along Main St. at the MK. Does anyone know which store has them? I would love to get these done of my two ds. Thanks

We had one made of our 4 kids when we went last August. We had it done at a shop in Liberty Square. I have also heard that a shop on Main Street does them. I would recommend it, it is pretty cute!!!

What a terrible admission but I can't remember the name of the shop! I do remember it is on the right hand side of Main Street as you enter.

We had ds-8's done at an outside stand in Liberty square. I think it was around $15 for portrait and the frame.

Downtown Disney has a "kiosk" as well for silhouettes. It is near the Rainforest Cafe.

I had one done for my son last summer and it is on the right side of main street in between two buildings. I want to say after corner shop with candy. The CM was set up with a cart in between the two stores on the walkway.

They did an OK job, you'll enjoy if first time ever having one done, but if your want a true professional one done, I highly recommend silhouette-man.com. The attention to detail is amazing and he is very famous for his work. I haven't used his website yet, but was fortunate to catch him on a tour in Cincinnati, OH.

I remember a shop called The Shadow Box on Main Street years back--I suppose this is still the name of the silhoutte shop on Main Street? Not sure though.

Every time we have gone to WDW with the cherubs we have had one done. First year there were only 4 DCherubs and next time there were 5. Katiebug was sick that whole time and slept throught he entire vacation, for months when people asked her her favorite ride, she would proudly say "My Daddy". When we had that one done she was sound asleep and Daddy held her on his lap with her head in his hands. CM did a fantastic job. This past January when we went we had it done in Liberty Square by a woman named Jan (I think) She signed it and everything. While the others were great hers was phenomenal. We will definetly be going to visit her in December!

We just had this done the last week of April. As you head down Main Street there is a small "alley" on the right side. There was a cart with identical twin brother CM's. One was doing the silhouettes, the other caricatures. They were both very talented and did a wonderful job. The silhouette was $7.00 without a frame. We did it first thing when we arrived at MK and they held it for us until later that evening and then we picked it up on our way out.:D

We had this done on Main Street and I must warn you that quality can vary! Ours didn't even look like us and there was no detail. They were awful. We came home, took profile pictures of ourselves with the digital camera, and cut them out of black paper. Ta da! And we KNOW they look like us. We made extras, framed them, and gave them to our mothers.

We did it about a year ago on Main St. and they only took a few minutes. One word of caution - they only took cash not a room charge. I tend to carry no cash in Disney....so beware!

Thank you all for your quick responces. I'm looking forward to having one of these done.
