My family loved our day there and would have enjoyed another day too, especially if there was a water attraction area for the kids also. What do you think?

Hello Again Lodgelady and welcome home! It was great to meet you on our 5/3 cruise.

Yes, waterpark at the Cay!!!! Now that I went back into the water, I'm all for it!!!!!!!

And somehow the day wasn't long enough, was it?!

You must have missed it... seriously... why would you want to blemish the natural beauty (ok, almost natural) of that little gem of an island...

No, no, no...

I would still have to vote a very loud NO! Castaway Cay is so beautiful and non commercial I would hate to see it spoiled. I would be all for two days their though :)

Keep in mind that if they had two days at Castaway Cay, they'd have to eliminate St. Maarten on the 7-night cruise Eastern and probably Cozumel on the 7-night Western. The reason there are two days at sea on the way to St. Maarten is that takes that long to get there.

The only itinerary that could easily handle a second day at Castaway Cay is the 4-night Wonder.

Really great water parks, such as Typhoon Lagoon, have a fake beach. Castaway Cay has a real beach!

I guess I wouldn't object to a few more "water playground" items floting in the water, but a big system of towers with tube slides would go a long way to ruin the primitive tropical island atmosphere of Castaway Cay. And given the massive amounts of electricity that the water pumps would require, they's have to build a new power plant.

Let's leave things the wonderful way they are.

My thoughts were to skip key west on the Western, don't think two days is doable on the Eastern (which is fine by me- I love the three days at sea)

Absolutely not!!! If I want to go to a water park, there are an enormous number of choices, including the ones at WDW. If I want to go to a tropical paradise, I'd like to find one at CC, not some waterpark!

Adding a second day would reduce some of the "specialness" of the visit to CC on each cruise.

Absolutely, positively, unequivocaLly NO, NO, NO, NO, NO!!!!

CC = beauty, serenity, charm
Water park = hectic pace, ugly large slides, loud, obnoxious behavior

I have fun @ water parks, but it's not the place on CC. Too commercial.

The Thanksgiving Magic this year is skipping Key West for 2 stops at CC.

if i want to go to a water park, there are plenty enough to get to. I would really hate to see CC spoiled by a water park...

The island is large enough to accomodate a water park on the other side. It wouldn't bother the beaches and would probably be quite popular - especially with the teens.

I'm all for a 2nd day - but no waterpark!

If not 2 days - then a longer day - I LOVED Castaway Cay - as far as I'm concerned they can do away with Nassau for a second day.

would you like a waterpark on Castaway Cay?

First let's start a kosher restaurant inside Arafat's Ramallah compound, a line of paper shredders called The Enron Executive Model and sell afterlife insurance in Israel...
