National Rates Dropped Again!

I just checked my car ressie for May 27- June 2, 2001 and it went down another $14.00! I'm doing the happy dance. If it wasn't for these boards I would never have known to keep checking. I thought there was a flat rate for that time period and that was that! Boy was I wrong! I learn something new from these boards every day. Thank you and keep the info coming. Everybody check your ressies. I hope you find the same thing I did. Good Luck!:p :p :p

We plan to use National on our trip in October. First, congratulations on your good deal. Can you give me a run down of how it works with National. I have an Entertainment book that has discounts. Are there better ones? Can anyone tell me where the Car Care Center is at WDW? As always, THANKS for the input!!!

Can someone let me know what the best way to recheck rates is???
Do you just rekey a "new" reservation and see if the rates drop and then go and revise your current reservation, or do you work off your current reservation? I just don't want to lose anything that I have on the current by playing around with it.

I act like I'm doing a new reservation and if it's good I reserve it and THEN I cancel the old one.

I wouldn't fool with a current one as the rate could change to a higher rate.

The National Car Care Center is right outside the Magic Kingdom. They have a shuttle service available by appointment. The hours are something like 7-7, but not every day. Here's the phone # 407-824-3470 to that location.

I just checked my ressie again for next week and it went down another $7.00. Everyone said to keep checking until the last minute because the closer you get to that date the more it usually comes down and they were so right!!! I'm real surprised that mine came down, with it being a holiday weekend, but I'm definitely not complaining!:pinkbounc :pinkbounc :pinkbounc
