Yes it's true. Coming to an CT hotel in October, the CT Contingent will again be hosting their annual 24 hour+ pin meet. Last year we had over 80 traders attend and hope to surpass that mark this year. Traders from all over the East coast attended, from as far north as Syracuse and as far south as Florida.

Not yet but getting close...

Call the Residence Inn when trying to book. Their website is stating no vacancy but when you call, tell them you are booking for the Fall Foliage event. We do have a block of rooms set aside at the Residence Inn. Once rooms disappear from the on-line system, people can call the hotel directly and request a room that's been set aside for the Fall Foliage Pin Meet.

Here are a few other options...all are within a few miles of the Residence Inn. Most of the options are just another exit up from the Residence Inn. The Radisson would be the same exit as the Residence Inn just a bit further north.

I just booked our hotel room for this. Last year I waited too long and the hotel was sold out. I'm so thrilled that we will be "right where the action is" which will also give me more flexibility with the kids.

I hope some of you plan on coming early. I am going to be there from about 11 am till 3. I have to work that evening at 4 pm until Midnight.
Maybe I will stop back after work, who is going to stay awake and wait for me? It's an hour drive each way, so I would get back at about 1 am. Peggie

Definately make the drive, there will be trading through the night.
Last year they broke up very late and started trading again in the am.

Peggie - you can always come back. I know a few of us have cell phones so just call when you get off work and we'll tell you how the trading is going. We can always plan a special 1am Bingo game!

I had a good time although time went quickly. I had to get to work by 4 so I started saying my goodbyes at 3. I finally left the room at 3:20 for a 1 hour trip that I made in 35 minutes. got to work on time with time to spare.
I made some great trades and had the BEST Low carb pumpkin cheescake that Epcotkilterfan brought all the way from Ohio, thanks Debbie it was great.
Can't wait till next year and I promise the nurse who is ill now and I am covering time for owes me BIG time. I am staying with you guys all weekend next year. Peggie
