A couple of random questions...

Redeeming for "$25 or $50 reward toward a Marriott hotel"...

Is this reward done through giftcertificates.com?

Are these rewards stackable?

Is it possible to use these rewards at Renaissance hotels?

Do any programs offer rewards towards Renaissance hotels?

I did this recently because I could get $50 certificate for 4500 points. I expected to receive a regular GC from Marriott. I did eventually, but what you have to do is make your travel arrangements through Milesource, then they mail you a confirmation along with the GC. I was hoping for the GC straight from Marriott because they are stackable. Not sure how you would stack doing it their way............You receive an email from them with a number to call to make your travel arrangements. Bit of a hassle - I like to make my own arrangements, and then I pay with the stacked GC like cash.

You can also get cheaper rates normally on your own. I always order the giftcertificates.com reward, even though it is more and just order Marriott from them.
