I don't mean in your bathroom, but where on your body, now that I'm losing inches- it seems my waist is trying to show through- but where is my waist? Is it at my belly button- and now that my derrier is dipping south and saggy- do I have to scoop all that up and measure it as hips?? I'm so confused!! If anyone has some specific ways to measure let me know!!
But I do know- I am losing inches each week!! :) Thanks Katholyn for suggesting that! Now the pounds won't mean as much- WHAT - of course they will I want new clippies!!!

I am high waisted, I measure my waist right where my jeans go to. Then I measure right around my bellybutton area, as that is my largest area, and finally I do my hips, for me that is just below the bikini line..(not that I will ever have a bikini, but that's where one would be if I did). To be honest as long as you do around the same place each time and the inches are dropping, then you should be ok :teeth:
Good luck!!!
PS. That Kath is a smart cookie... :)

I have been measuring my waist at where my front sticks out the most (Below my chest).
I have been measuring my hips at where my back side sticks out the most.
So I guess I have been taking a Gut and Butt measurement.

I thought I was the only one confused about where to measure myself. I like the idea of the butt and gut measurement. I know I've lost quite a few inches because I wore a pair of stretch capri pants that I haven't been able to wear comfortably in over 2 years! Since the pounds are coming off so slowly, I need to keep track of those inches accurately. Thanks guys! Happy losing!

At Curves when they measure my waist, they ask me to bend over sideways. Where I bend is my waist! She positions the tape measure, then I stand up straight and she measures. It's good to have some type of visual like that to help make sure you measure in the same place each time!

I measure my waist where it goes in (okay so it goes in more now than it did in the beginning LOL) and I measure my abdomen below that -that sticks out further also!
For my chest I measure at the furthest part that sticks out (and btw- that is lower now. wahhhhhh) and also below the breasts. I guess I get kind of particular eh? Hey I want to know where I lose inches -every single place that I can measure! LOL (can't measure the face- darn. LOL)
For the hips I measure just below my flabby hangy saggy abdomen which goes around the biggest part of my hiney also ofcourse. :)
It really doesn't matter where you measure- as long as you figure out a place and measure in the same places each time to get accurate readings on how much you've lost. :)
