Ok, looking at JFulcer's list and all of the posts I agree that the 1st of November is the best date.

Let's plan on meeting at the Campfire 30 minutes prior to start on November 1. Is this ok??

To all of you that are there at various times we can also try to fit in several mini meets throughout the week.

I've always wanted to do a campfire, I think that's a great idea kinlaw6450. What would you suggest? Do you have any set times you are going to do the campfire???

We have not set our schedule yet since the park hours are not posted yet but they typically close early in the fall. I know they do the campfire almost every night. Halloween night I am going to MNSSHP but other than that no nighttime plans.

We'll be at the YC Conceirge 10/28 - 11/4...I'm so excited. We're going to HRH for 5 nights and 2 days at HIFS, then to Disney for 7 nights. I just made reservations with Dreams Unlimited and we don't have exact plans yet.

I'll be in Orlando for a tradeshow, but my evenings will be free. I'll be there Nov. 1-6, staying at the Royal Pacific Resort at Universal (where the tradeshow is).

It looks like Nov 1st for a meet (campfire?) would be the best. Those people who are saying 'through Nov 1' - does that mean you can make it Nov 1 and are leaving Nov 2???

Ok, I made it into a table so you can see what days might be best. The reason I suggested Nov is because up to 12 people may be able to attend. But if they can't come, there is really a 3 way time for three of the other dates. Of course, if there is a date you can't make and want to do another/smaller meet, that would work too...

There'se nothing that says we can't actually have two meets - one in Epcot for lunch or something, and one for a campfire. I for one think that the campfire sounds cool but it really doesn't allow enough time (IMHO) for the DIS meet conversations that inevitably happen. I would arrange my schedule to meet people for a lunch too (of course, I would need to check with my DW for her thoughts too:) ). We could call it DIScon 2 1/8 and 2 1/4. :D

I do think that Epcot would be a good idea for a meet - that's the park that is normally not quite as crowded. We could do a mini-DATW as it's the Food and Wine festival. :)

Campfire at Ft. Wilderness! The schedule says it starts at 7 so if we all start arriving at 6:30 it should be plenty of time to get a nice big spot to hang out for a while!!

I can't wait!! I'll post the movie schedule for that night soon as it's listed.

11/1 campfire sounds great. We have never been to the campfire.

How easy would it be to get back to CRS?

I would think it shouldn't be to hard. The buses will still be running. You will need to catch a bus over to TTC then transfer to a CSR bus though. Unfortunately there is no direct route to there from Ft. Wilderness. :(

As for an EPCOT meet... I'd be up for that as well... I think. Actually, if I can figure out a way to manage it... I thought I'd try to drink my way around the world this trip - since I'm staying at the BC and it shouldn't be too difficult to find my way "home"... of course, the last time I thought I would try this feat... One "viking" sized beer in Norway and I had to call it a day! :crazy:
