Paradise Pier rates

I'm going to be staying at Paradise Pier for a continuing education event in Oct. The business rate with the convention is $155/ night. I'm just checking that this is the best rate that I'll get, or should I try other avenues to get a better rate?

That sounds like an excellent rate! Recently they were offering a special rate (I think for stays until the end of April) of around $150, which my friend got. I haven't heard of anything lower than that.

Anyone else?
