In the past I have used my resort key card to charge everything, except meals in restaurants. Does anyone know if you can use your resort key card to charge meals at restaurants in WDW? This question is pointing towards the 4 theme park locations & Downtown Disney.
Thanks,
Michelle

Yup. :teeth: If you put down a credit card when you check in, you can charge just about anywhere on property with your key card. The only places I'm not sure about are the Swan and Dolphin restaurants.

Different resorts allow different ceilings on the room cards. Typically the cards are charged at the end of the stay. So, say you are staying at the ASMu where the limit is $500, when you reach that limit, the front desk will need to charge your card before you can charge anymore. Moderate resorts allow up to $1500 (I think) and I believe deluxe goes up to $2000.

Swan and Dolphin do NOT accept Disney resort charges anywhere on their property.

I can confirm that the limit for a Deluxe (well the GF anyways) is $1500. And this is not a "limit" - all that happens is if you reach $1500 before your check-out, the front lobby just runs yours credit card through to verify that you have the room for the $1500 on your card.
Then you balance is 0 again...and that's when you get to cause more damage...:p
