Just wondering if anyone out there has had the Key Lime Pie at Jimmy Buffet's. This is one of my favorite desserts. Hopefully it's not like a thick cheese cake.

I'd like to also know how the margaritas are. You see, I'd just go for a piece of pie and a big margarita. ;)

Thanks for any input on this. :)

Had the pie two days ago, and it is the cheescake type, but i thought it was very good. Husband seemed to like the magaritas. :D

Thanks for the reply! It's just that I've had a few that had very little lime taste and more like a cheesecake. If it's got a good lime (tartness) taste it's usually pretty good.

May I recommend the Cheeseburger in Paradise. :D
I liked the atmosphere of the restaurant...and the food wasn't too bad either.

The cheeseburgers were good!! We also had the catch of the day which was wahoo. I had it blackened, what a treat!! :) My husband had the surf and turf which was yummy too. Margaritas and daquiris were great!! Daughter enjoyed the quesadillas!!
I hope the stilt walkers are there when you go!! They make funny balloon hats and creations and really liven up the place!! What fun!! :)

The key lime pie and the margaritas were definitely the best part of my meal - so you should be in good shape!!! The erupting margarita volcano is definitely fun to watch. And my husband bought me a salt globe in the giftshop....very cute since I love snowglobes. This one has a parrot and salt instead of snow!

The one thing I would not recommend is the fajitas - the meat tasted liked it was boiled

I'd like to recommend the conch fritters.

I didn't have a margaritta at Margarittaville (strange I know), but I had a slam dunk margaritta at NBA City. It was the best margarita I have ever had. Dynamite!

Have a great time!

We might try NBA City. My son wanted to try this restaurant, too. And you say they have a great margarita! Sounds good to me! ;)

Thanks Again :)

Lets see, it's 10:00pm. If I leave now I can be in Margaritaville by 12:30am... i'm really tempted.

I liked the key lime pie but I thought the Chocolate Banana Bread Pudding was to die for.

On the other hand, I was disappointed in the Cheeseburger in Paradise. I found it to be pretty dry and ordinary (although bigger than most). Mybe I cought them on an off day. Guess I'll have to try it again.

DH thought the "cheesburger in Paradise" was only average. The nachos, however, were enough for 2-4 people!
